Clogging of Printhead is a big and stubborn problem when we use a large format inkjet
printer.There are many talks about how to unclogging,including manual and mechanical.

Manual ways ,I think ,fit the situations of light clogging,needing you find the clogging
early ,pay much time and careness upon the processing ofcleanning printhead face,pressing or extractting or refilling.

But when you have much printing works which sometimes needs to be done quickly,the
mechanical ways would be better and effectiver.As mechanical ways,usually there are 3 ways to clean the print head:
1. Using vacuum cleaner to suck out the dry ink from outside of the jets.
2. Using syringe with cleaning liquid to push out the dty ink from the inlet of the jet.
3. By ultra-sonic vibrator.
The stratagems of unclogging or cleaning above,I think,lie on and differs from two bases.
One is some like “changing the state of aggregation of inks“,may beeter for the situation that you find out very early when you often print ,and the inks are not wholely concreting.
One is some like “washing out with liquids“,may better for the situation that you fin out problem after some unuse ady,and the inks are nearly whole concreting.

Of course ,those 3 above methods ,sometimes,accrording to different equipments,may result in
some negative effects :
1. Break the edge shape of nozzle.
2. Destroy the piezoelectric crystal inside the jet.
3. Neither cleans the jet at all.

It seems that you’d better to buy a new prinhtead when stubborn clogging gazing at your
printer.
Of course ,if you have many and many money,and could pay little attention upon your
budget,it is best way.But if you have to face the budget calculation,want to find a balance way,you should have to chose from the above equipments ,or find some new and better ones.

Large format printer holds a important role of Sign Making.
Nearly almost pictures in Advertisements & Exhibitions are printed by large format printers,at the high speed and quality.
Normally,as we talk about large format printer,we mean inkjet printer,sometimes,only the inkjet printer with solvent ink.
The large format printer,which uses solvent ink,seems to fit to the outdoor advertisements & Exhibitions,for the demands of the graph’s width and lasting-time.
So,they are sold well , used widely.
But there are some other problems from solvent ink.The two big ones:
clogging of printhead;halmful for users and environment.
With the eco-solvent ink coming up,the situation seems to changed better.
So the inkjet printer still keep its improtent role now.
Afterall there are there is always a economical calculation of pay and income from business part.
